Basticar, I did enjoy meeting you and I also got to say hi to some people I 
hadn't seen in many years.

And I enjoyed collecting my $100, even if it is worth less than it was 
before, because it's $100 more than I was expecting to take home from the 
conference!

Sorry Bob, I don't have that information other than I heard the expected 
turnout was 180; not sure what the final count was.  Expense wise, all I heard 
was that they moved it from the hotel because they lost $12K on the 
conference last year O...o

Hopefully, they at least broke even this year and I'm hoping they made some 
money . . . otherwise I can't see this happening again next year.

Ack!  I wish you'd brought that up earlier Bob as I would have looked for him; 
as it was I had no idea and was busy busy busy running about :)

It was a good conference although obviously downplayed from the hotel that 
caused them a huge loss last year.  The classrooms were nice and comfy though; 
definately a good learning environment.

. . . and Viking; somehow I missed your giant Axe!  Probably just distracted 
by your dazzling smile :D

FYI, on Friday's show which is during the OCEAN event, Jeff Olen one of their
Speakers will be on the air with us starting at 9:00 AM Pacific time. His
session starts at 9:30 so he's going to stay on for the first 20 minutes or so. 

If you're there... feel free to locate him and stop by the say hi to the show.

I heard there's going to be over 180 attendees which is danged good for a 
strictly iSeries meeting nowdays.  Going to be there early to make sure I 
don't miss the 1st class.

. . . I'll be looking for a "Viking" nametag ;)

Soooooooo . . . this is coming up a week from tomorrow and it's looking like I 
will attend; baring the world comming more unglued than it already has ;)

and I'd probably get lost trying to find it :p

They invite me only every other year--this is the off year for me, so I won't be there. Too bad too, because 
I have so much new content. Yet another reason to plan on going to RPG World in September.
